We look forward to receiving outstanding TCWSE TALK proposals and encourage everyone to submit. In creating your submission, please keep in mind that our underlying conference objective always mirrors the mission of TCWSE: to create and maintain a united community of professional educational executives by promoting equity and quality in leadership through renewal, mentoring, and career advancement support.

This year’s conference opens up the opportunity for you to give the TCWSE TALK that could easily become your future TED TALK. Ensure your talk expands upon an area of passion you believe women who lead or who aspire to rise need to hear. How does your personal and professional experience give insight that will provide guidance and inspiration to others? Leadership is not about position, it is about disposition. You do not need a fancy title to have a talk worthy of attention.

2019 TCWSE Talks Proposal

We welcome your ideas and hope that you plan to be in attendance for the conference! Instructions for accessing and returning the Call for TCWSE TALKS application are listed below. Session talks must support the mission of TCWSE. Please share this call for TCWSE TALKS with your colleagues.

Region 4 TCWSE TALKS Proposals — Submission Requirements

Applications will be accepted January 8, 2019 – February 9, 2019
TCWSE TALKS must be 18-20 minutes in length (like a TED TALK) and will be presented one time during the conference.
Sales presentations will NOT be accepted.
Presenters are responsible for all presentation materials, copies, and handouts. Similar to a TED talk, we encourage you to focus your creativity on the visual power of your powerpoint presentation without an over-reliance on the slides in your deck. We highly encourage you to watch several TED talks upon which to model your presentation.
All presenters must register and pay the registration fee to attend the Region 4 TCWSE 2019 Spring Conference.
A valid, individual e-mail address must be provided for the presenter. E-mail addresses are used by Region 4 TCWSE to contact individuals for registration purposes.
